Newfor @ summer school “Mass movement, torrent erosion: which tools to measure topography and its evolution?”

Some outputs of the Newfor project were presented during the summer school “Mass movement, torrent erosion: which tools to measure topography and its evolution?” organised in the framework of the project CTE – Interreg IV Alcotra « RiskNET » (June 16th-20th). 35 persons, including students, researchers and practitioners were attending the summer school. JM Monnet from Irstea presented the use of remote sensing techniques to map forest attributes in the context of the assessment of the protection effect of forests against rockfalls. Results obtained by partners of the project (Technological University of Vienna, BFW, Irstea) on different pilot areas (Austria, Italy, France) were included in the presentation. The presentation (in French) is available here.
